The 2017 Subaru Forester made its public debut at the Tokyo Motor Show last year and was scheduled to arrive in the market in summer 2016. The automaker has just released the pricing details of the Forester with base trim starting at $23,470 and top of the range 2.0XT Touring carrying a price tag of $35,170.
It boasts a newly designed front bumper and hexagonal grille accompanied by updated headlights for a sharper persona. The interior features new technologies including an enhanced steering wheel column with Bluetooth, audio and cruise control switches.
Other updates include an improved steering ratio, thicker windows and door seals to reduce wind noise, and underfloor insulation and an acoustic windshield to minimize sound from outside.
The 2017 Subaru will be accessible in Standard, Premium, Limited and Touring trims. The powertrain has a 2.5-litre four-cylinder Boxer engine that produces 170 horsepower. A 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder Boxer engine generating 250 horsepower will also be available in upper models.
