The 2017 Honda ridgeline is the Japanese automaker’s re-entry in the midsize pickup truck segment with production already started at the manufacturing plant in Alabama. The good news is it comes with a lot of enhancements to attract the pickup truck fans and we believe Honda will be able to beat its competition this time. Why? Let’s find out.

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline is revamped inside out boasting a new appearance, a modified 3.5-litre V6, an entirely fresh interior, torque vectoring all-wheel drive and its main facilities like a dual-hinged tailgate and a trunk in the bed. And that’s not all.

A few other salient facilities comprise of an in-bed audio system and Honda’s full suite of active safety technology encompassing adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and more.

“Today we celebrate the dedication of our Alabama team in bringing a very innovative new pickup truck to market,” said Jeff Tomko, president of HMA. “I congratulate all of our associates for their commitment to our customers as the Ridgeline returns with new features that will deliver even more of what today’s truck customers want and need.”

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline will hit the US dealerships soon. However, we did not receive any word from the automaker about its debut in the UAE.
