The 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport will arrive this summer in the United States carrying a price tag of $66,445, making it $13,950 cheaper than the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.
The 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport offers most of the things you would find in the Z06 including the same suspension, braking system, body kit and wheels. However, the powertrain in the Grand Sport is the regular 6.2-litre V-8 engine that produces 460 horsepower, whereas the Z06 carries a supercharged 6.2L aluminium V8 engine that generates 650 horsepower.
The Grand Sport also offers downforce-producing aerodynamics package, enhanced cooling package and Michelin Pilot Super Sport wheels that render cornering capability of 1.05g. Opt for the optional Z07 package and the cornering capability will increase to 1.2g.
It is capable of going from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 195 mph. The 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport will most probably make its debut in the UAE shortly after it arrives in the US.
