Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced a new feature in the smart inspection app to speed up the process of parking permits issuance. The app is developed to empower parking inspectors with the latest available technology, while making it difficult for the motorists to sneak around the issued parking tickets.
Previously, the inspectors were capable to catch motorists breaching the regulations governing public parking areas in Dubai. The new smart inspection app will help inspectors to register and renew permits relevant to parking slots in a fast way. It also enables the officers to receive payments and invest in private empty plots as parking slots, in addition to schedule personal parking permits for citizens. The GPS technology further identifies the position of new and existing parking permits.
The introduction of this new application is certainly going to improve and shape up the work of parking inspectors while making vehicle parking, a convenient process for the motorists.
