Ford’s newly introduced front interior visor light bar adds a covert appearance to the Police Interceptor SUVs making life tough for criminals on the move. The installation of a visor light bar not only makes Police Interceptor SUVs hard to identify on the road, but also provides drivers more brightness and better visibility by installing a clear glass replacing the conventional dark shade band at the windshield’s top.
The light flashes alternative red and blue bars at the windshield’s top when activated, but can also be coded for blue/blue and red/red light combinations. In addition, the visor lights also feature a bright-white “take down” and “scene” facilities for an improved forward visibility along with an auto-dimming system.
The American automaker promises an improved driver visibility with this fully attachable low-profile unit. The non-invasive internal compact light bar comes with a limited warranty and is available to order with the 2017 Ford Police Interceptor Utility.
