With a base price of $149,990, the 2016 Nissan GT-R Nismo is one of the fastest road legal sports cars available in the market. The previous model set a record of 7:08.679 ‘Ring Time’ back in 2013 at the Nürburgring, and now the automaker claims that a new world record has been set.
Nissan has not revealed much information except a teaser video of sixteen seconds which shows the Nissan GT-R Nismo sprinting somewhere, probably in the Middle East.
The Nissan GT-R Nismo carries a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V-6 engine that is capable of generating 600 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. The exterior is so beautifully designed that it keeps the drag low and maximises the downforce for a powerful performance. The N-Attack package further upgrades the performance by improving the aerodynamics.
The teaser video does not tell when the world record will be revealed, so stay tuned.
