The 2017 Fiat 124 Spider Elaborazione Abarth has arrived in the United States and is standing right beside the Mazda MX-5 Miata RF at the 2016 New York Auto Show.

The Fiat 124 Spider Abarth was previously showcased by the automaker at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show where it gained a lot of publicity and attention for its attractive design. It carries a turbocharged 1.4-litre 4-cylinder engine that is capable of generating 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The powertrain can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed, paddle-shifted automatic transmission system. The power boost comes from the enhanced suspension, exhaust system and added limited-slip differential.

Some exterior updates can also be found on the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider Elaborazione Abarth, which include a sexy red paint with black matte hood, a sporty front bumper, 17-inch aluminium wheels and chrome exhaust pipes.

The interior is pretty much like how a sports car cabin should be with leather seats, aluminium sports pedals and an exclusive gear shifter.

The Fiat 124 Spider Elaborazione Abarth will arrive at the dealerships this summer.
