The 2017 Buick Encore is going to make its debut today at the 2016 New York Motor Show and will go on sale in summer.

The 2017 model boasts some impressive exterior enhancements including a refreshed front fascia with LED headlamps. The rear features newly designed LED tail lamps giving the 2017 Buick Encore a unique persona.

The interior gets a new IntelliLink infotainment system with 8-inch touch display and Android Auto/Apple Car Play integration. The gauge cluster has been upgraded too and features a 4.2-inch display. Other updates include keyless start and entry system and OnStar 4G LTE with a Wi-Fi hotspot capability.

The powertrain remains unchanged; the 2017 Buick Encore will carry a turbocharged 1.4-litre 4-cylinder mill mated to 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Encore has remained one of the automaker’s bestselling vehicles in North America mainly due to its compact design and fuel efficient drive. Buick believes that the new model will again top the sales chart once it hits the dealerships.
