The day is finally here folks and we are about to witness some of the finest, luxurious and most sophisticated vehicles manufactured by top automakers from around the world. The 2016 New York Auto Show is taking place in Manhattan’s Javits Centre. We are going to give you a quick preview of what you can expect from the event.
The luxury vehicle division of Honda, Acura will reveal its 2017 Acura MDX that boasts an extraordinary exterior design and extends a new powertrain technology.
Chevrolet is going to introduce the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that is surely going to get attention of every visitor on the event. It carries a 6.2-litre V8 unit that can produce 640 horsepower.
To compete with the ZL1, the 2017 Nissan GT-R will be there with some exterior and powertrain enhancements.
Coming in from Italy, the 2017 Maserati Levante carrying a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine will make its North American debut and reveal its specifications for the American market.
Besides all the luxury and expensive cars at the 2016 New York Auto Show, we will also get to see the 2017 Subaru Impreza that uses the company’s new Global Modular Platform.
Other worthy mentions are: the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback, the 2017 Buick Encore and the 2017 Toyota Highlander.
Mercedes also plans to unveil the 2017 Mercedes-AMG E43 equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine that generates 396 horsepower, and the new CLA Class with loads of tweaks and updates.
One of the fastest cars we would see at the show is the Koenigsegg Regera, packing more than 1,500 horsepower.
Furthermore, the Dutch automaker Spyker will showcase its Spyker C8 Preliator which will be powered by a V8 engine capable of yielding 525 horsepower.
