Pagani has finally decided to release the open top version of its Huayra Supercar in August, during the Monterey Car Week. Before showcasing it to public on August 19 at The Quail, the Pagani Huayra Roadster will be first exhibited to a private audience. Following the Quail Motorsport gathering, the Huayra Roadster will also be displayed at the Pebble Beach Concoursd’Elegance event.
In terms of powertrain, the Pagani Huayra Roadster will be similar to its coupe variant. Powered by a Mercedes-AMG twin-turbocharged 6.0L V12 engine, it would produce over 720 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque.
The roof mechanics employed on the Huayra Roadster will most probably be a removable roof panel instead of an automated roof. This will keep the weight close to the coupe variant, which is 3,000 pounds.
Only 100 examples of the Pagani Huayra Roadster will be built worldwide.
