Ford Motor Company has announced an upgraded and more powerful version of the Ford Fiesta ST at the Geneva Motor Show last week, called as the Ford Fiesta ST200.

The Ford Fiesta ST200 carries the same 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol engine as the standard Fiesta and produces 197 horsepower and 217 lbft of torque. However, the new overboost feature bumps the power rating to 212 horsepower and 236 lb-ft. It is capable of going from 0 to 62 mph in 6.7 seconds with a top speed of 143mph, making it the fastest and the most powerful Fiesta ever created.

Besides the engine upgrades, the Ford Fiesta ST200 incorporates a distinct Storm Grey exterior paint and 17-inch alloy black matte wheels with shiny red painted brake calipers. The interior boasts special Recaro seats.

The production of the ST200 will start this summer, however Ford has not yet announced the price and when this hot hatchback will hit the dealerships.
