The new 2016 Hennessey Chevy Camaro package is here and it can upgrade the performance of your standard Camaro SS by more than half.
The 2016 Camaro SS Hennessey HPE1000Â Supercharged Upgrade is available for the standard Camaro SS equipped with the LT1 V-8 engine. It includes a 4-inch crankshaft kit that increases the engine displacement by 6.8-liters (416 cubic inches). Other major updates include a high-flow supercharger system, extreme duty intercooler system, custom forged aluminium pistons with an increased compression ratio of 11.5:1 and shiny stainless steel mid-pipe exhaust system. With all these enhancements, the powertrain rating shoots up to 1,000 horsepower.
Hennessey will also offer a one-year, 12,000-mile warranty on the new HPE1000 package, along with Hennessey badges, a Certificate of Authenticity and a serial numbered plaque signed by the founder of the company, Mr John Hennessey.
The price of the 2016 Hennessey Chevy Camaro SS package starts at $65,000, which makes it $38,300 more than the standard Camaro SS.
