Reportedly, a downsized variant of the Model S, the Tesla Model 3 will be officially introduced to the public on March 31 in an event held close to L.A.’s International Airport, we got to know via Inside EVs.

Tesla has long been working on Model 3 and evidently got late in their efforts to bring it on the road. The 200-mile range electric car would cater to budget-friendly buyers standing below to Model S and Model X. Rumors say, it will wear a price tag of $35,000.

At the event, Tesla will not only debut the Model 3, but will also be taking orders online as well as at its showrooms.

Tesla might not reveal all the details about the electric car at the event. According to CEO Elon Musk, they would keep the audience guessing until the sale date comes closer. The Tesla Model3 might hit the roads at the end of this year.
