The Italian automaker teased a video couple of days back hinting at an exclusive supercar dubbed as the Lamborghini Centenario to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of company’s founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini. And what could be a better event than the Geneva Motor Show to showcase this beautiful piece of engineering to the general public.

The Lamborghini Centenario carries a naturally aspirated V12 powertrain that churns out a mighty 770 horsepower. According to the officials, this engine is the most powerful the company has ever created and could go from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph. It is an all-wheel drive car, however, a rear wheel drive version will be available too.

On the inside, the Lamborghini Centenario features a 10.1 inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and a telemetrics system to monitor the car’s performance.

Lamborghini will develop 40 units of the Centenario, each worth US$1.9 million and all of them have been sold out to their respective buyers.

The deliveries are expected to be started in fall.
