The 100th birth anniversary of the Lamborghini’s founder ‘Ferrucio Lamborghini’ is just around the corner and what could be a better way to celebrate it than building a $1.2 million dollar limited edition Lamborghini in his memory.

Reportedly, the new special edition supercar will be called ‘Centenario LP 770-4’ based on the Lamborghini Aventador platform. It will carry a 6.5-litre V12 engine that will generate over 770 horsepower. Compared to the standard Aventador SV, this special edition Centenario would produce 50 more horsepower.

The leaked images show that the exterior styling is pretty aggressive boasting a very low ground clearance and huge chrome wheels. Only 20 units of this limited edition Lamborghini Centenario will be built and reports indicate that all of them have already been sold out to their respective buyers.

The Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4 will be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show which will start from tomorrow.
