The 2017 Mercedes AMG C43 is the latest addition to the Mercedes C-Class family. The sporty coupe is in line with Mercedes plans to kill-off the AMG Sports lineup and build on the performance-oriented Mercedes AMG brand. The AMG C43 would be replacing the C450 AMG Sport and has inherited a lot of the older model’s features.

Powered by a twin turbocharged 3.0 litre V6 (362 hp), the 2017 Mercedes AMG C43 has an all-new 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission that provides agile gearshifts and could sprint from a 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds. The standard-fit AMG ride control sports suspension allows for more dynamic driving and comfort. There are five driving modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual) which can be accessed by the tap of a finger.

The exterior features light alloy-wheels, diamond radiator grille with chrome-plated pins and AMG lettering, high-gloss black waistline trim strip and window frames, and two chrome-plated tailpipes. An optional “Night package” adds heat-insulating dark tinted glass and other high-gloss black trim options.

The car will be officially launched at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show next month.
