Hennessey Performance has juiced up the Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT to 1032 hp – an astounding number for a vehicle that weights about 2 tons. The American tuning company, specialised in modifying super cars and sports cars, will be turning out 12 such performance packages for the Challenger Hellcat.
The Dodge Challenger is already a well respected muscle car with a supercharged 6.2 litre HEMI V8 that pumps out 707 hp, making it one of the most powerful and fastest cars on the road. Nevertheless, Hennessey Performance offers several performance packages for further boosting up the Hellcat. This one we are talking about is the HPE1000 package.
The HPE1000 boosts the performance of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT to 1032 hp, 987 lb-ft of torque with a twin turbo system that works in conjunction with the factory supercharger. The power packed muscle car could hit 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds.
The performance package comes with a one year, 12,000 mile warranty.
