The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe made its first public appearance at the Chicago Auto Show 2016 with a revamped look. The popular SUV is Hyundai’s most fuel efficient model for both city and highway driving. The Santa Fe Sport scores 24 mpg with a 2.4 litre engine.
The exterior enhancements to the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe include a new rectangular front grille, LED daytime running lights, revised sharper headlights and tail lights along with new dual exhaust design. The safety features include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection and adaptive lights. Customers can choose between 17, 18 and 19-inch alloys with a redesigned pattern.
The cabin enhancements comprise of a 7-inch touch screen display as standard and 8-inch as optional. The seating can be modified for 5, 6 or 7 passengers.
The engine options remain the same – customers can choose between 2.4 litre 4 cylinder with 185 hp and 2.0 litre turbocharged 4 cylinder with 240 hp. The high performance version of the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe is also available featuring a 3.3 litre V6 with 290 hp. The updated model does get a drive mode selector with options of Sport, Eco or Normal drive modes.
The price of the base model would start from $25,350 and max out to $41,150.
