After claiming the 2016 ‘China Car of the Year’ award, Geely GC9 is all set to reach UAE around mid March, courtesy Union Motors. A brand new showroom spreading over 400m2 in the Mussafah Area of Abu Dhabi has already been set up to handle the marketing of Geely Auto. The GC9 will be launched in the UAE in 2.4L and 3.5L engine options.
The vehicle created a lot of buzz at its premiere at Beijing’s Water Cube in 2014 and won the 2016 China Car of the Year title for its state of the art technology, functionality and competitive pricing. The award was received by the CEO & President of the company, who promised a new start of highly efficient vehicles by introducing GC9 series.
Raymond Ma, GM at Union Motors shared that the company has partnered up with Geely Motors in an effort to bring economical yet highly functional vehicles to cater to the multicultural automotive market of UAE.
Launched in 1997, Geely Autos today ranks among the top automotive manufactures in China, in addition to being a Fortune Global 500 company.
