The Jaguar FType SVR will be making its first public appearance at the Geneva Auto Show. However, the news was first leaked as a German dealer got brochures of the supercar before any public announcement by Jaguar.
Specifications, pricing and pictures of the Jaguar FType SVR will be made available at the Jaguar Media Center on February 17th. For now, Jaguar has confirmed that the F-Type SVR is capable of 200 mph top speed and is the first Jaguar to wear the SVR badge (an honour granted to Jaguar’s most hard-core performance models).
According to information from the leaked brochure, the two-seater aluminium sports car will be powered by a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission channeled to all wheels.
The Jaguar FType SVR has been developed by Special Vehicles Operations and promises the powerful performance of an SVR with the luxury and comfort associated with the Jaguar name. A convertible version has also been confirmed.
The F-Type SVR is expected to go on sale by summer this year.
