An Enzo Ferrari limited Edition, worth Dh3.67 million ($3 million), has been parked in a specific Dubai police confiscated compound to gather dust for the last 6 years. Reportedly, the car has been moved to another location for protection; no word on why the Enzo Ferrari was seized is shared by the police.

Enzo Ferrari is powered by a V-12 engine and was named after the company’s founder. The vehicle was designed by Ken Okuyama, a renowned Japanese designer, and debuted at the 2002 Paris Motor Show.

From BMWs, Mercedes to Ferraris and Porsches, almost all the high-end sports cars have been abandoned in the Dubai airport parking lot. Luxury cars getting abandoned at the airport parking in Dubai, later confiscated by the Dubai police is an old story.

Reportedly, 15,118 vehicles were captured by Dubai Police last year, an increasing contrast to 10,200 seized vehicles in 2014. General Khamis Matar Al Mazina, Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief shared that the seizure has been done to preserve life and property as stated under the Decree No 29 of 2015.

Dubai Police have also imposed a fine of Dh100,000 for cars and Dh50,000 for motorcycles to reduce the ever increasing cases of reckless driving. Cameras have also been installed on the highways for catching over speeding and unregistered vehicles in real time.
