Mercedes has confirmed the launch of Mercedes All-Terrain crossover wagon to compete with the Audi A6 Allroad. The Mercedes All-Terrain is expected to be launched by the first quarter of 2017.
Mercedes has been aggressively expanding their line-up across all segments since last year and the strategy is expected to push them to the top slot in global luxury car sales in 2016. The Mercedes All-Terrain belongs to the fifth generation E-class family and is a cross between the standard E-class Estate and the GLE SUV.
It is expected that the All-Terrain will feature a higher ride height and be equipped with the Mercedes 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. In all likelihood, it will also come with the AirMatic air suspension system.
Other major additions to the Mercedes line-up include the C-Class Cabriolet expected to be released in August, the C 450 AMG 4MATIC by the end of the year and the GLC Coupe also by the end of the year.
