The Korean automaker has announced pricing for the sixth generation 2017 Elantra which comes with a design and technology upgrade along with several enhanced safety features.

The 2017 Elantra is offered in 3 trims out of which the SE and Limited will be delivered to showrooms this month, while the Eco (fuel-efficient turbo model) will be released later in Spring. The SE and LE trims feature 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engine that churns out 147 hp. The engine can be coupled with either a 6 speed manual transmission or 6 speed automatic with Continuously Variable Transmission.

The SE trim starts at $17,150 ($ 100 less than the outgoing model). A Popular Equipment package is available, along with a Tech Package which includes LED daytime running lights, Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. The LE trim is priced at $22,350. The Tech Package includes advanced multimedia features, while the Ultimate package comes with a whole host of high-tech equipment including segment-first integrated memory system for the driver seat.
