After stunning everyone at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, the production model of the LF-LC concept (known as Lexus LC) dominated the 2016 Detroit Auto Show again. Set for production around early 2017, the coupe would carry LC nameplate succeeding the SC convertible.

Although Lexus has only confirmed the 2018 Lexus LC 500, the LC 500h hybrid version should follow soon featuring a V6 engine mated to a next-generation Hybrid Synergy Drive system

The Lexus LC 500 is powered by a 5.0L V8 engine similar to RC F and GS F, to produce 467 hp and 389 lb-ft torque parried with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Even though the engine specifications may sound a bit old, we can expect a turbocharged engine having more power than V8 at some point during the development phase.

Similar to the other Lexus models, the Lexus LC 500’s interior is designed exquisitely, with every surface wrapped in extravagant quality leather. The switchgear and the alloy trim further add to the interior’s look.

As per company, the LC coupe will hit the American showrooms at some time in 2017 as a 2018 model, while its arrival in the UAE is still not confirmed.
