The Buick Avista Concept has amazed everyone at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. The two door concept comes equipped with a 400-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.0 litre V-6. Inspired from the Cadillac ATS-V, which uses 464 horsepower twin turbo 3.6 liter V-6, the Avista concept uses General Motor’s mesmeric ride control system for an enhanced driving and handling of the car system.
Other salient features of Buick Avista Concept include touch screen controls, aluminium body with exposed carbon fibres and a widescreen entertainment system. The seats at the front and back are extremely supportive, similar to the ATS-V rear seats.
For now, the Avista is merely a concept and is not in the production pipelines of the company. However, the idea has clarified the direction of Buick for future. It will be interesting to see how the manufacture would use the Buick Avista Concept to redefine the company’s standing in the automotive industry.
