The 2017 Ford Fusion is scheduled to launch at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, but surprisingly a spy photographer has managed to take pictures of the beautiful sedan without any camouflage near the automaker’s Dearborn test facility.
The spy shots show that the 2017 Ford Fusion has not received any major exterior changes except an updated grille, a more aggressive front bumper with larger intake and chrome details. The taillights have been somewhat tweaked too, but from the sides it’s almost same as the outgoing model.
Reports suggest that there will be no powertrain upgrades, however a new sporty model called the Ford Fusion ST is planned to be released next. It is expected to carry either a turbocharged 2.3-litre or a twin-turbo 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine.
The interior of the 2017 Ford Fusion will have some great enhancements including the SYNC 3 infotainment system with maybe a rotary button placed near the gearbox.
It will arrive at the dealerships a few weeks after its official debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.
