The Mahindra KUV100 will go on sale on 15th January 2016. The compact crossover is Mahindra’s entry to the micro SUV market and will be competing with the likes of Ford Figo, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10.
The Mahindra KUV100 will be launched in four variants named with an alphanumeric combination: K2, K4, K6 and K8. All four variants will be equipped with Antilock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). The K4, K6 and K8 will also sport dual front airbags.
Mahindra expects the K6 variant to top the sales charts in the range and that’s why equipped it with additional features including remote central locking, electrically adjustable ORVMs, cooled glove box, height adjustable driver’s seat and multiple-drive modes.
The top end variant, K8, will come with cosmetic enhancements including alloy wheels, puddle lamps on doors, silver accents on door handles and a start/stop micro hybrid system.
The prices of Mahindra KUV100 are expected to range between Rs. 4 – 6 lakhs.
