Nissan seems excited about the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon show, as the automaker is expected to showcase 14 amazingly modified cars at the event. Among the 14 cars, 13 of them will be customized versions of their standard production models such as Note S, March, Rogue, Juke etc. The Nissan stand will also display the Motul Autech GT-R sports car which won the 2015 SUPER GT series held on November 15th.
Nissan’s motorsports and performance division, Nismo has made some interesting changes to the Rogue SUV (also known as X-Trail in North America) by improving its aerodynamics and giving it a new sporty look. Regarding the powertrain, it is not confirmed yet whether the Rogue’s 2.5L 4 cylinder engine will get an update or not. Joining the Rogue are Versa Note and the Serena Minivan.
There will be other upgraded vehicles up for display at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon including Leaf EV Aero Style, Sylphy S Touring, Dayz Bolero and Rider, and Elgrand Rider Black Line.
