IAlthough the 2016 Mazda CX-5 unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show came with some significant updates, but the automaker thought they weren’t enough and decided to make this crossover even more amazing by adding some technological equipment.
Dubbed as the 2016.5 model, the Mazda CX-5 will now feature a backup camera as standard on all the versions with automatic transmission. The Touring variant gets a navigation system and heated front seats as standard, while the Grand Touring version is also equipped with a standard navigation system.
With these added facilities, the pricing of 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 is also going to shoot up. The base price of front wheel drive model with 6-speed manual transmission is $22,695, while the all-wheel drive variant with automatic transmission is priced at $24,495. The range topping Grand Touring AWD model carries a price tag of $30,770.
The 2016 Mazda CX-5 will go on sale next month.
