The French automaker is set to present its latest super car dubbed as the Bugatti Chiron, at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show next March. The name Chiron has been given to this hypercar after Bugatti’s race driver, Louis Chiron who participated in the race events during the twenty’s and thirty’s.
The new teaser images show that the Bugatti Chiron has almost the same shape as the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept which was displayed at the Frankfurt Auto Show, a few months back. Sources tell us that Bugatti has already taken more than 100 hundred orders of the Chiron and the company has plans to build around 500 units of the hyper car.
Regarding the engine, it is obvious the Veyron’s powerhouse i.e. turbocharged 8.0-litre W-16 will be upgraded. The horsepower can shoot up to 1,600 or even more.
The starting price of the Bugatti Chiron is estimated to be around $2.4 million.
