The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA is going to get some tech and power updates to make it more preferable for buyers. The updates will include a new infotainment system plus better media interface with enhanced navigation and voice activation capacities. Apart from that, the high-performance Mercedes-AMG GLA45 would get a power bump.
The good news is, lots of facilities would come in standard now, such as, keyless start, dual-zone climate control and the Dynamic Select vehicle dynamics adjustment system with settings for Comfort, Eco, Sport and Sport+.
The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA will have no change in the powertrain department; we will again have two options. The standard Mercedes GLA250 would feature a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine pumping out 208 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The standard drivetrain would be 2wd, while customers can also go for all-wheel drive layout.
The high-end Mercedes-AMG GLA45 would also have a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with 375 hp and 350 pound-feet of torque mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The standard drivetrain is all-wheel.
Prices of 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA variants have not been announced yet, but expect them around the current figures for ongoing models.
