The Korean automaker has just released couple of teaser images of Hyundai Ioniq, which will have the distinction of being world’s first car to feature 3 electrified powertrains. Made to rival the likes of Toyota Prius and Chevy Volt, the all-new Hyundai Ioniq will be accessible in full electric, gasoline-electric hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains to suit the needs of different customers.

Though the teaser images do not give us a good idea of its exterior, but Hyundai has revealed that it would feature the brand’s signature hexagonal grille combined by a striking gloss-black element that stretches away to reach unique latest headlights.

On the inside, we get a cluster-free dash, roomy interior and ergonomically designed controls. Nothing more can be said right now and more details can be shared as it makes debut in Korea in January 2016, after which it will start its journey for the 2016 Geneva Motor Show which will be held in March 2016.

We expect the Hyundai Ioniq will make its official American debut at the 2016 New York Auto Show.
