Porsche Centre Dubai is now part of the newly established international network of Porsche Classic Centres. The initiative is the first of its kind and will bring a range of services for classic Porsche models under one roof. It is also recognition of the fact that more than 70 percent of all Porsche vehicles ever produced are still on the road.
Porsche Centre Dubai on Sheikh Zayyad Road, launched in February this year, is part of the current network of 24 Porsche Classic partners around the world – a mark of the popularity of the brand in the Middle East region. Porsche plans to expand the network to 100 Centres by the end of 2018. In addition to support for current models, the Porsche Classic Centres will provide sales, repair and maintenance, overhauls and up to 52,000 original spare parts. The dealers who become a part of this network (Porsche Classic Partners) will be dedicating a separate section for sales and service of classic models.
Porsche models which have been discontinued from standard production for over 10 years are eligible for the services offered at the Porsche Classic Centres. These include the 356, 914, 911 up to and including Types 964 and 993. The 4 and 8 cylinder Porsche road vehicles (924, 928, 944 and 968) are also part of the Porsche Classic list along with the Porsche Boxter (986) and the Porsche 911 (996).
