The grand Dubai Motor Parade marked the end of the 12 day Dubai Motor Festival. The spectacular Dubai Motor Parade consisted of over 600 cars making their way through Dubai’s most well known streets.
The motorcade was an amazing display of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin and Maserati cars, in addition to iconic vintage models. Dubai Police also participated in the parade with their glorious supercars.
The parade started and ended at Meydan Street and made its way along Shaikh Zayed Road, the Financial District, Emirates Tower and the Burj Khalifa. A well-known part of the parade was the competitions for Marques d’Elegance, awarded to the most luxurious and popular car in the parade, and for the best National Day-decorated car. The winner of the latter was a Black Jeep covered with UAE flags accompanied by a man in a camel costume.
The popularity of DMF can be imagined from that fact that 48 different nationalities and 17 motoring clubs participated in the event.
