If you thought that the horsepower and torque rating of the Audi RS 6 and RS 7 were atrocious, well think again! The automaker is looking forward to introduce Performance versions of the fastback RS7 and the muscle wagon RS6 with even more outrageous power output of 605 horsepower.
These Audi RS 6 and RS 7 beasts will carry the same powertrain as the standard model which is a turbocharged 4.0-litre V-8 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission system; however the power rating has been upgraded by 45 ponnies. The updated power will allow the performance variants to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph. If that is not impressive, you can choose the Dynamic package that offers a top speed of 190 mph.
There will be other enhancements too such as new 21 inch wheels, air suspensions with adjustable dampers, dynamic ride control suspensions and more.
The bad news is that the Audi RS6 model will not be offered in the US markets, but we can expect the Audi RS7 to be announced in the US as a 2017 model. We do not have any news about its arrival in the Middle East yet.
