The Toyota C-HR concept car is going through modifications to allow for a mass market version to be premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016. The C-HR was first launched in 2014 at the Paris Motor Show and its five-door model was recently displayed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

A stylish crossover, the Toyota C-HR has already been stepping towards commercialization with modifications like the transition from 3 to 5 doors and the uniform roof colour (now a glossy black from the original two-tone blue black). The design reflects the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) which aims to improve Toyota vehicles through better chassis rigidity, improved stability and increased comfort.

The CHR concept car will also have a thermal efficiency of over 40% and improved fuel efficiency through a hybrid system. The European CHR will land next summer, while there is no word on its arrival in the Middle East.

The Geneva International Motor Show is the only international automobile exhibition recognised by the OICA (International Organisation of Automobile Constructors) that takes place each year in Europe and is one of the world’s Top 5 motor shows.
