Racing enthusiasts got an unexpected thrill when a video showing a camouflaged secret Pagani Huayra was released on YouTube earlier this week. The supercar was making rounds at the San Martino del Laga circuit in Italy.
The Italian automaker has not released any information on whether this was the secret Pagani Huayra Special Edition that was first announced in July 2015. However, some of the features of the hypercar are too obvious to miss including the front splitter and the distinctive carbon fibre rear wing.
Experts are confused by the addition of a large rear wing which was not apparent in the showcased version of the car. Speculation is rife as to whether the company is gearing up to launch a brand new version.
The Huayra Special Edition might have unique removable add-ons that will be used on the race-track and can be stowed away while driving on the streets.
