Audi sales in Qatar continue to grow and the company’s authorised dealers in the locality have recorded the highest Audi sales in the GCC region with an overall 25% growth compared to last year. .
Q-Auto was established in 2012 with an exclusive dealership of Audi and Volkswagen for Qatar. The company attributes its high sales to the focus on customer support and after sales service. According to Ala Makey, Audi Qatar Sales Manager, they are thrilled with the performance and are expecting even higher numbers by the end of the year.
The Audi A8 tops the high performers list with an incredible growth in sales compared to the previous year. Other top performers include the A6 showing 12% growth. Not to be left behind, the Audi SUV models Q5 and Q3 sales have also gone up by 16.7% and 14.3% respectively.
The German luxury car manufacturer has been doing well world over with over 900,000 vehicles shipped in the first half of the year – an internal record for the company within a six month period. Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of management of AUDI AG says that “The Audi Group demonstrated its strengths once again in the first six months of this year”. The company has shown an 11.6 percent increase in sales in its biannual report with operating profit driven up by 9.1 percent.
