1953 General Motors Firebird 1 XP-21
The supercool Firebird 1 XP-21 was a courtesy of General Motors. Remove the four wheels and one could hardly differentiate it from a jet-fighter. And like an airplane it featured a turbine engine that spun at the rate of 26,000 rpm to generating 370 horsepower, which was something to boast of at that time.
