According to Green Car Reports, the new Tesla Model X Signature Series will be offering 250-mile all-electric range instead of the earlier declared range of 240 miles. As we already know that Tesla CEO, Elon Musk has declared the delivery date of the Tesla Model X to be September 29, 2015, but it seems the first crossover from the automaker has still been going through some tweaking. .
The vehicle features an air suspension system with GPS memory, a 90KWh battery and Tesla’s created Autopilot system. Customers who have paid $10,000 extra to get Ludicrous Speed upgrade would be able to sprint this CUV from zero to 60mph in merely 3.2 seconds. The complete specs of the Signature Series are only available to those with reservations.
The price of the Model X Signature Series starts at $132,000, but Elon Musk has hinted that the standard Model X would be $5,000 costlier than the similar Model S.
The current pictures of the Model X give us a good guess of the cargo capacity. Teslarati reports that the recent pictures of the Model X reveal that the third-row seats can be folded down to improve the cargo capacity of the vehicle, but does the second-row has the same feature, is still unknown. Fortunately, the launch of the Tesla Model X is only a few days away and these mysteries will be solved soon.
