Revealed around 2 months back, the new 2016 MINI Clubman was officially introduced to the public recently at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. With a length of 168.3 inches and width measuring 1,800mm, the 2016 MINI Clubman is not only larger than most of its competitors but also the largest vehicle manufactured by the automaker.

The interior of the MINI Clubman 2016 has also been revised and is much similar to the MINI Cooper. The cabin is quite spacious with a luggage space of 360 litres which can be increased further by folding the rear seats. The front panel boasts a large infotainment system.

The powertrain options include either a 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine that generates 134 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque and a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit producing 189 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque. The engines can be paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission system. The base model is capable to sprint from stationary to 60 mph in about 9 seconds with a top speed of around 142 mph.

The 2016 MINI Clubman starts at £19,995 in UK, which converts to around $31,053 in US.
