The American automaker has updated the 2016 Chevrolet SS tweaking exterior styling to make the sedan look fresh and modern.
The new changes include an updated front fascia with vertical air ducts that will improve the air flow over the front wheels, thereby enhancing the overall aerodynamics of the car. The fog lights on the front bumper have been replaced with LED lights plus a new set of 19-inch wheels have been added making the 2016 Chevrolet SS appear more aggressive.
On the inside, you will find a new infotainment system of 8 inch display with navigation system.
The powertrain remains the same featuring a 6.2L V-8 engine paired with either six speed manual or automatic transmission system generating 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque.
The final change is a new dual-mode exhaust system that produces a powerful sound as you drive the 2016 SS on high speed and a low engine noise when driving it on low speed.
The 2015 Chevrolet SS is priced at $48,040 (including destination charges), so expect the price of 2016 model to go a little higher.
