Hyundai has finally come up with a new generation of its famous sedan, 2017 Hyundai Elantra, which was revealed this week in Korea with Avante nameplate. The automaker has completely redesigned the sixth generation Elantra and it certainly looks more attractive than the outgoing model.

In terms of dimensions, the new Elantra is both longer and wider than the previous generations, which make it more spacious. The weight of the car has been significantly reduced too thanks to the use of high-strength steel.

Talking about the exterior styling, the new 2017 Hyundai Elantra looks much similar to the 2015 Sonata and Genesis because of the bold hexagonal front grille, accompanied by aggressive LED daytime running headlamps. At the back, the tail lights have been redesigned with an addition of a rear spoiler.

On the inside, the automaker focused on making the Elantra 2017 as opulent as possible. The cockpit comprises of a three-spoke steering wheel and an 8 inch JBL infotainment system. Moreover, it features some of the latest technological and safety features. The front dash is made from a very high quality plastic which gives this sedan a luxurious feel.

The powertrain will include both diesel and petrol units. Expect the base model to carry a 1.6-litre direct-injection engine paired with a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox, while a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine will also be offered in upper trim versions.

The new sixth generation Hyundai Elantra 2017 will make its debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show and will arrive at the dealerships next year.
