The Lexus ES 2016 has recently made its debut in Bahrain at Lexus showroom. The debut ceremony was hosted by Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo, the dealer of Toyota and Lexus for the region. In attendance were other important personnel of Lexus for Bahrain such as Group Manager Waleed Kanoo, Lexus and Toyota Executive Sales Manager, Ismail Akbar, and Marketing Manager Ayman Shehadeh.
According to a released statement on the occasion, “Lexus ES series sedans epitomize the luxury and comfort the brand name has become synonymous with”. Ayman Shehadeh was all praises for the new sedan and its new looks. He stated that the Lexus ES 2016 sets the bar high for luxury sedans by amalgamating the Lexus finesse with a new redesigned front, sportier bumpers and new interior colour combination.
The ES 2016 reportedly has a price tag of BD17,800 and has the distinction of being the first model to debut features such as Lexus Safety System, Radar Cruise Control and Automatic High Beam.
When it comes to engine configuration, the 2016 Lexus ES sedan will be available with varied specifications in different parts of the world. For example, USA markets will only have the ES350 and the ES300h hybrid for the time being instead of turbocharged 2.5 litre four cylinder. However, in Bahrain, we get both 2.4-litre V4 and 3.5-litre V6 engines.
