The all-new 2016 BMW M4 GTS comes redefined as ‘an abstract idea or general notion.’ The high performance roadster will be also offered for tracks, while the first M3/M4 bespoke cars will be sold in United States as well.
The BMW M GmbH division, previously known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, has produced many speed monsters for the pride of German automaker; the latest itineration is no different. The GTS Concept boasts water injection system which makes the most out of the fuel supply and improved aerodynamic design with carbon fibre reinforced plastic that decreases lift, air resistance and makes it lighter and faster.
Other highlights include carbon fibre front splitter and rear wing, carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CRFP) hood, wide front air intake and reduced axle lift. The exterior styling appeals through its Frozen Dark Grey metallic paint job with Orange accents on the front splitter and wheels, while wheels themselves come with light alloy material, polished in 666 M styling. The next generation M4 GTS Concept is driven by a twin turbocharged 3.0L 6 cylinder engine with a state of the art cooling and heat stabilizing system.
The 2016 BMW M4 GTS Concept broke the covers to the world at the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance in Monterey, California, that took place on August 13th. Recently, it was found testing at the famous Nurburgring, check out the video.
