Forbes has placed Tesla on the top of their list of World’s most innovative companies. The news should come as a shock to the other automakers, but Forbes has their reasons, primarily the Tesla Model S.
The workers at California-based Tesla must be dancing with joy at this news, but instead of focusing on their cocktail celebration, let’s find out why Forbes thinks of them so high. Well, the Tesla Model S comes with solar-power, efficient turbochargers, a sprint from 0-60 in less than 3, high end disruptor, over the air software updates, compact make, great safety features and home delivery. The achievements don’t stops here; the gorgeous electric car observed 52 percent growth on its sales in just last 12 months and has been awarded best overall car consecutively for the 2nd year by Consumer Reports.
Detailing more successes of the company, Forbes elaborated that Tesla increased its share by 15x and earned $5.3 billion in equity going half way through the last decade. This doesn’t mean the company didn’t face losses, as innovation demands risks and sacrifice.
Forbes also highlighted that introducing quality products to the market is a successful strategy, as Tesla also adopted it along with other companies like Apple, Starbucks, Dyson and Garmin. You can read more about it on September 6 issue of the magazine.
