The 9th August marks Singapore’s Independence Day, and this year’s event was made special as Ferrari celebrated the 50th iteration of the country’s monumental day by a one off- Ferrai F12 Berlinetta. The customised supercar is a SG50 edition, which was remastered on-demand from Ital Auto, who is the automaker’s official importer in the Southeast Asian metropolis.
The bespoke Ferrai F12 Berlinetta stands out from the rest of its siblings, and wears a red and white attire to speak for the Scuderia Ferrari and Singapore’s national flag, in an intention of goodwill from the famous Italian car maker. Apart from that, the monocoque cherishes a glossy metallic red paint job, which has been customized to match a specific colour, known as Rosso Singapore, while discerning contrasts have been added through the Bianco Italia racing stripes, wheels, side mirrors, and accessory aerodynamic attachments like front spoiler, side sills, and rear diffuser.
The interior of the Ferrai F12 Berlinetta has also been given a touch of exquisiteness by schematically incorporating black leather and technical fibres to the cockpit, while the red and white accents and the country’s national symbolic lion silhouette signify its importance in terms of a Singaporean expression. Furthermore, to make it look like a gifted car, “Singapore 50th Anniversary Edition 1/1” is phrased on the sill plate and lower rim of the steering.
