The all-new 2015 Ford Focus now comes with an optional Performance Upgrade Kit (offered by Ford Performance Division) that bumps its power output to 275 hp and 296 lb-ft of torque. The company claims that addition of the new kit won’t affect its reliability, while the 3-year/36,000 mile factory-warranty will also remain viable.

The new Performance Upgrade Kit for the Focus ST will enable it to generate an extra 23 hp to its current 252 ponies, coupled with additional 26 lb-ft. It is made possible through a more performance-based engine mapping program and ECU calibration of the whole system, which trustfully enhances the throttle response without affecting engine’s life. Moreover, air filter end cap can be added to the kit to minimise sound and for weather protection.

The upgraded 2015 Ford Focus ST will still be street-legal on American roads, while enjoying more aggressive speeding specs.
