Revealed last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show and dubbed as “ultimate American muscle car”, the powerful 725 hp Galpin Rocket coupe quickly gained attention of car enthusiasts around the world. Now the luxury car designer Henrik Fisker has introduced a convertible version of the same car known as Galpin Rocket Speedster, which will be displayed at the Pebble Beach Concoursd’Elegance this week.
The convertible style definitely makes this vehicle much sportier than the coupe variant. The body kit makes use of carbon fibre, plus the air vents installed behind the driver and passenger seats improve the aerodynamics. It is available in deep metallic red colour.
The powertrain includes a 5.0 Litre supercharged V8 engine that produces the same amount of horsepower as described earlier. The price tag of Galpin Rocket Speedster is not yet known, but it will surely be higher than the Galpin Rocket coupe, which was priced at $109,100.
