With a host of new exciting features, the all new 2016 Mercedes Benz G-Class is set to debut in America at a starting price of $120,825. The new model will include redesigned bumpers, larger wheel arches and standard 19-inch five-spoke wheels.
It will even have an updated instrument cluster and a new 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine rated at a respectable 416hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. The mid-range and top-of-the-line models will be priced at $140,855 and $218,825 respectively.
The off-roader is expected to compete with the Lexus LX 570, Land Rover Range Rover and Porsche Cayenne Turbo. It is capable of attaining a top speed of 140 mph (225.3 km/h) and can go from 0 to 62 mph (100km/h) in just 5.2 seconds.
Available in a range of colours, the Mercedes Benz G-Class 2016 would be a ‘fuel-efficient’ offroader, however, no figures related to its fuel economy have been released yet.
